Tiny Lipe Island in Satun Province

Normally, many people who have gone diving around Lipe Island know that this place is famous for its stunning soft corals. Visiting Tarutao during clear water seasons when the corals are flourishing is one of the best experiences in Thailand. There's also the famous Eight Mile Rock where you can hope to spot a whale shark.

As for me, I usually come to this area to do underwater photography about 4-5 times a year. However, I rarely use a macro lens to photograph small creatures. This time, I set myself a challenge to only use a macro lens. While diving and searching for smaller marine life, I discovered that even at the easier dive spots near the island, there’s an incredible abundance of life! I came across seahorses, frogfish, nudibranchs, bamboo sharks, and many more. Some were so tiny that I didn't know how to photograph them, but it was fun trying something new. Here's a glimpse of what I captured during this trip!

หลีเป๊ะตัวเล็กๆ จังหวัดสตูล

ปกติแล้วหลายๆคนที่เคยไปดำน้ำในเขตเกาะหลีเป๊ะจะรู้ว่าที่นี่มีปะการังอ่อนที่สวยมาก การไปตาลังช่วงน้ำใสปะการังฟูคือที่สุดอีกแห่งนึงของเมืองไทยและยังมีกองหินแปดไมล์ไว้รอลุ้นฉลามวาฬ ส่วนตัวผมเองมาทำงานถ่ายภาพใต้น้ำแถวนี้ปีละ 4-5 รอบ แทบไม่เคยเอาเลนส์มาโครลงถ่ายตัวเล็กเลย รอบนี้เลยตั้งโจทย์กับตัวเองว่าจะเอาแต่เลนส์มาโครลง พอมาดำหาตัวเล็กทำให้ค้นพบว่าจุดดำน้ำง่ายๆใกล้เกาะหลายๆจุดมีสิ่งมีชีวิตเยอะมากกก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพวกม้าน้ำ ปลากบ ทากทะเล ฉลาบกบ และอีกเพียบ มีหลายตัวที่เล็กมากจนไม่รู้จะถ่ายยังไงแต่ก็สนุกดี ได้ลองอะไรใหม่เอารูปมาฝากกันประมาณนี้ครับ ^^
