ชุด วิจิตรานาฏตเล่นเงา หนังใหญ่วัดขนอน

“หนังใหญ่“ ศิลปะการแสดงเงาโบราณของไทย ที่วัดขนอนจังหวัดราชบุรี โดดเด่นด้วยตัวหนังที่แกะสลักอย่างประณีต ใช้การเชิดพร้อมดนตรีปี่พาทย์ ถ่าย ทอดด้วยเรื่องรามเกียรติ์ ชุดได้แรงบันดาลใจจากหนังใหญ่วัดขนอน ตอน หนุมานจับนางเบญจกาย นำเสนอออกมาในรูปแบบชุดไทยประยุกต์ ผ่านการออกแบบและตัดเย็บอย่างทันสมัย แต่ยังคงเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นไทยได้อย่างทรงคุณค่า

“𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐬” — Inspired by Nang Yai Wat Khanon

Nang Yai, the ancient Thai shadow puppet performance from Wat Khanon, Ratchaburi, is celebrated for its meticulously carved leather puppets, animated with masterful movements and accompanied by the traditional piphat ensemble, narrating the timeless epic of the Ramakien.

The costume “Legacy of Shadows” draws inspiration from the Nang Yai episode Hanuman Captures Benjakai. It reinterprets this cultural treasure into a contemporary Thai-inspired attire, seamlessly blending modern design and tailoring with the enduring elegance of Thai heritage.
